Costco has a great deal with a couple of Surface 3 bundles that can save you $80 off the retail price. The two bundles available are:
- $599: Surface 3 (2GB RAM / 64GB Storage), Type Cover (black), Surface Pen (silver)
- $699: Surface 3 (4GB RAM / 64GB Storage), Type Cover (black), Surface Pen (silver)
Since the Surface 3 ($499 or $599) + Type Cover ($130) + Pen ($50) = $679 or $779 if purchased elsewhere, these bundle deals save you $80. The only downside is you can have any color you want for the cover/pen as long as it’s black/silver.
An alternative for those who qualify is Microsoft’s education discount of 10%, which leads to almost the same discount for the higher-end 4GB/128GB version.
